Vox DVD Released

For those of you who missed our last sensational gig at the Syndey Conservatorium,
(or those who want to experience it again), don't fret.
Thanks to Rushcutter Entertainment we've now produced and released our first DVD.
Featuring the vocal stylings of 2010 Guest Artists, Halcyon and the Kammerklang Orchestra,
this DVD also includes interviews with each of the composers, and for a limited time a free copy of the concert program.

Oops, long time no update. We're gearing up to record the Kammerklang Vox CD with Halcyon and
it's been a lot fun putting together this program and especially working with the amazing talents of
Jenny Duck-Chong and Alison Morgan. We've also done our first publicity photo shoot with
ensemble, Halcyon and the composers, which we'll be releasing daily leading up to the first concert
on May 26.

Kammerklang Vox Applications Extended!

Kammerklang Vox Applications have been extended! Writer's applications are now due by October 8th,
Visual Artist's applications are now due by October 22nd. Thank you to all the composers who
have applied, if you would like to be considered for future projects please feel free to send through an

Applications Open for Kammerklang Vox!

Applications are open for one month only to apply for Kammerklang Vox,
featuring reknowned vocalists Jenny Duck-Chong and Alison Morgan who form Halcyon,
one of Sydney’s most amazing new music ensembles. To apply to work on this project
which includes workshopping and a seminar on modern vocal writing, a live performance and professional recording, click here.

Kammerklang Pre-Concert Talk at 6:30pm

Now that we're eight days away from
Kammerklang 2009, we thought we'd remind you
of some key times. 5pm - Art Exhibition Opens,
7pm - Concert Starts AND from 6:30pm, Artistic
Director Cameron Lam will give a short pre-concert
talk on ideas behind the pieces, the artwork and the
project. Don't forget to pre-book your ticket in the shop
and remember, pre-orders close on Wednesday the 27th of May.

Submit Your Composition For 60secs

60secs is a cabaret-style concert featuring 60 new, solo instrumental works,
each being just 60 seconds in duration. Following the highly acclaimed premiere of
the concert in 2008, 60secs 2009 will tour Central Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong

Hatches And Dispatches

The Kammerklang crew are pleased to welcome our new Marketing Manager
David Boyce. Dave graduated from Sydney Conservatorium of Music, majoring in Composition
in 2008 and is currently employed within the Sydney University's Centre for Continuing Education.
Helena Czajka, outgoing Marketing Manager, has vacated her position to pursue some very exciting
composition opportunities. We wish her all the very best and look forward to following her work.
